Sophie McNeish

My name is Sophie, I’m a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) at animals 1st vets. I recently qualified with a BSC Honours degree in veterinary nursing at Edinburgh Napier University in 2024. 

I love all aspects of nursing in practice from consults where I like educating clients on providing the best care for their pets, to monitoring anaesthetics and providing plenty of cuddles to your animals in recovery. 

I have a German shorthaired pointer dog (Bruno) and also a Welsh D Cob horse (Buddy) who both keep me busy in my spare time. 

Outside of work I enjoy spending time at the yard with my horse and caring for him and also with my dog at home who enjoys a cuddle on the couch. You may also see us out and about at dog friendly cafes as we both enjoy going out for a cup of tea and a dog biscuit for Bruno of course!
