Morven Scott

My name is Morven, I am one of the RVNs here at Animals 1st. I qualified with a BSc degree in Veterinary Nursing and graduated from the University of Glasgow (via the SRUC Barony campus) in December 2021. 

Before moving down here I was working in a mixed practice in my hometown- Nairn, near Inverness, in the highlands. I have learned many valuable lessons throughout my time there during work experience and my practical placement, I look forward to transferring my skills into practice and increasing my confidence down here. 

I enjoy all aspects of nursing, and assisting with your naughty pets! But my main interests within the practice include Emergency critical care and wound management. I hope to gain certificates within these areas in the near future. 

I now live on a farm near Pathhead with my boyfriend, who is a shepherd, working 300+ of his own sheep and helping other local farmers with their livestock work. 

We currently have 5 border collies that get worked daily and love their jobs! They also love a snuggle and a long walk around the fields. 

In my spare time I enjoy helping on the farm (especially at lambing time!), taking the dogs on long walks and baking the occasional cake for the team.”
