Amie

My name is Amie, and I am a student vet nurse at Animals 1st Vets.

I have a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, and spent many years working as a zookeeper. After moving into the veterinary world and working as a care assistant in general practice and at a referral hospital, my passion to help animals has now driven me to pursue my career in veterinary nursing. I am excited to learn, develop my skills and qualify as an RVN!

Outside of work and studies, I love visiting my family in England, and travelling on adventures with my partner Craig. Back at home we have two lizards, a uromastyx named Stevie and a day gecko named Guy - although I would love a cat as well!
